Half-Cut Cell + Twin Panel Technology
Half-cut cell + twin panel technology consists in cutting the solar cell in half by non-destructive cutting infrared laser and splits the conventional layout of 3 cell-strings in 1 electric circuit into the innovative layout of 6 cell-strings + 2 electric circuits in a PV module.
Lower Hot Spot Temperature
By halving the electric current of both the cells and the cell-strings, the hot spot temperature can be reduced by 50%, which enhances the reliability of the PV module.
Lower Operating Temperature
As the half-cut cells only have the half working current, the power thermal loss of the PV module during operation can be reduced considerably by 25% and the operating temperature of the PV module also is lower, which improves the PV module reliability and increases the overall power output.
Lower Shading Loss
The twin section layout of the cell strings in a PV module enables the module to continue to produce at least 50% of the overall energy even when one part of the module or the cell string is shaded.
Multi-busbar Technology
In comparison with the conventional 5 busbar design, the innovative multi-busbar design on the cell can shorten the current collection transverse path by 50% and thereby reduce remarkably the cell internal resistance, which contributes a 1% - 1.5% increase in the power output compared with 5 busbar design.
